I created a base for the Elegoo CC1 in the same design style, featuring two drawers. One drawer is connected via a chute to the nozzle waste, so the nozzle “POOP” falls directly into it, and the entire drawer can be emptied from the front. The drawer capacity is large, so it lasts a long time before needing to be emptied. The model is designed to be attached to the printer using 4 screws (M6×25), and the original printer feet are screwed to the bottom of the base (M6 nuts are required).

The individual parts are joined with M3 screws, and M3×5×4 Voron heat-set threaded inserts are used as counterparts. If you don’t have these, standard M3 nuts and screws can also be used. The model also uses round 5×3 mm magnets.

 

Between the printer and the printed base, I used 4 pieces of 2 mm thick compressed fiber gasket, but these can be replaced with printed ones if desired(not included ) . Alternatively, use any washer with a thickness of 2 mm and a maximum diameter of 30 mm, with a minimum inner diameter of 7 mm.

 

Printing parameters:

I printed everything from Elegoo PLA+, with 25% infill and 3 perimeters (supports enabled). Only in the areas where the printer feet are attached and where the base is mounted to the printer did I use 100% infill, using a 40 mm diameter cylinder running through the full height of the print, to ensure good stability and strength.

The lower part of the chute (the section connected to the drawer) was printed lying flat so that the chute surface would be as smooth as possible. The appearance is not 100% perfect due to the large amount of supports used, but the chute quality is better and the “POOP” falls into the drawer more reliably.

  • Brass low-profile threaded insert M3×5×4 – 23 pcs

    Compressed fiber gasket  30 mm diameter × 2 mm thick, with an internal diameter of at least 6 mm - 4 pcs

     

Total material consumption is approximately 4 kg. Each base part, including supports, uses about 680 g of material. Half of one drawer uses about 200 g. The waste chute consists of 3 parts with a total of about 300 g. Additionally, there are two full drawer fronts and a handle (I used the Elegoo handle model without a logo); for these two components, I used Elegoo PETG GF.

After assembly and mounting the base to the printer, it is necessary to perform a complete calibration, including a vibration test.

I have been testing it for about a week so far, and the prints are holding up as they should, with no deformation observed. However, I provide no guarantee of functionality, as I cannot ensure how each user will proceed with the assembly.
