Designed this intended to be a auxillary coin holder for metal cashregisters – but meanwhile found it to be too high to be usable alongside the OEM coins drawer so use this as a small parts bin / replacement coin drawer in case of the eventuality the OEM one breaks ...

It does slide into the inside of the register, but without being able to hang by the brim of the underside of the register instead it sinks into the body of the register.

My register has 145*115*50 mm as internal dimensions.

depending on your climate and usecase/threat model think about the material choice.

I printed my first testprint in PETG (had some left over), then the actual print in PLA (did not have enough PETG to stick with it for the final part but PLA works well for a mild central european climate).

If your threat model includes fires then definitely choose something more temperature stable – i have the coin holder in the metal box in a thick document safe so for me fires are not part of the threat model.
