This one came from a fun little internet moment. I saw someone floating the idea of a Linus blanket shelf in a 3D printing group, and since I’ve apparently become “the shelf guy,” I figured I’d take a swing at it.
The result is a floating shelf with a soft draped-blanket look, inspired by that instantly recognizable comfort-object feel that Peanuts fans will appreciate. It has a clean usable top surface, while the underside and edges flow like fabric tossed over the shelf and frozen in place.
It’s a simple idea, but that’s what makes it work. Nostalgic, subtle, and a little playful without losing function.
