Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS Capsule Holder

This is a precision-modeled replacement for the Nescafé Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS capsule holder. While it maintains the original geometry for a perfect fit, the design has been modified to replace the original injection-molded ribbing with a solid, ergonomic gripping area.
A dedicated slot has been added to the rear to house a rectangular magnet, ensuring the holder remains securely seated and providing a more tactile, high-end feel during use. (Max dimensions of magnet are 15x6.5x3 mm)

Material Recommendation

To ensure the part withstands the high temperatures of the brewing process, use ABS or ASA.
 ASA is the preferred choice for its superior chemical resistance and slightly better thermal stability.
 Avoid PLA or PETG, as the heat from the machine may cause these materials to deform over time.

Assembly & Post-Processing

1. Support removal
2. Sanding
3. Vapor Smoothing: For a food-safe, and glossy finish, perform an acetone vapor bath. This will seal the layer lines and significantly improve the aesthetics of the ABS/ASA part.
 3. Magnet Installation: Glue a rectangular magnet into the rear slot. Ensure you check the polarity against your machine's internal frame before final fixing.
