This water level can be dig into any pot or planter to help you checking the water level and make sure your plants never go dry.

the body of the stake is design with a Thread so you can customize how deep you want to measure depending on your plant or pot ( high from 50mm to 100 aprox)

also the middle pin that floats showing the water hight have a thread on it so you can add pieces to make it match the deep of the stake and or just print them in different colors to help decide the percentage of water that the plant have.

Some considerations:

I upload a print profile with the model in PLA ( yellow one form the model pics) and PETG (orange one in the pics).

The PLA version is meant to last less in the outdoor conditions ( a few months probably so is not too bad) but does not require any post print processing, just put it together and should be smooth enoght to works perfect.

The PETG version is more resistant to outdoor condition but due the properties of the PETG (more flexible when printing) the thread of the stake need a bit of polishing or sanding to work better ( I just screw and unscrew the stake a lot of times to make it smoother) also the inside of the stake need some sanding to help the pin to move smoother. After all that the water level show in the design photos is print on PETG and it works perfect as you can see ( just a bit of work to make it smooth enoght)
