This mechanical trendy toy, named “Egg Rabbit: Blue Blade,” is an original design I conceived from a wild idea.

The initial concept was simple: create a rabbit that’s truly one-of-a-kind. I didn’t want a soft, cutely adorable style, nor did I aim for an overly complex, hardcore mecha; instead, I wanted to blend the starkly contrasting elements of “rabbit” and “mecha” into a small object that’s both visually appealing and fun to play with. The name “Egg Rabbit” itself marks the starting point of the entire design—I envisioned it emerging from a round, plump “egg” as a powerful, mechanical rabbit, combining the softest form with the toughest spirit.

The entire piece is 3D-printed in royal-blue PLA, with a matte finish that exudes a premium feel. Every armor panel joint and every articulation gap was meticulously refined through countless iterations during the modeling process.

The limbs feature a fully articulated, multi-joint design, allowing the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles to move freely. Whether posing in a combat stance, leaping into action, or lounging casually in a relaxed sitting position, the figure handles it all with ease. The armor design also required considerable thought: sharp, angular facets seamlessly merge the rabbit’s fluid lines with the mecha’s robust strength—resulting in a balance that’s neither too bulky nor too flimsy. The weight feels just right in the hand, making it a perfect display piece on any desk.

This isn’t a mass-produced, assembly-line toy; it’s an original creation imbued with the warmth of thoughtful design—a “egg” harboring a mechanical soul, and a mechanically-inspired rabbit that loves to show off its coolness.
