USS George H.W. Bush, the tenth and final Nimitz-class aircraft carrier built for the United States in the early 21st century.

USS Bush continues the hull design of USS Reagan (CVN-76), with no major modifications to the flight deck. It served as an incremental design step for the CVN-78 Ford-class aircraft carriers. USS Bush is the most expensive and technologically advanced carrier in the Nimitz class, and it is also the most powerful aircraft carrier currently in service worldwide.

USS George H.W. Bush was built by Newport News Shipbuilding in Newport News, Virginia, USA. Its construction order was signed on January 26, 2001. Keel laying commenced on September 6, 2003, the ship was launched and outfitted on October 9, 2006, and it was officially delivered and commissioned into the United States Navy on January 10, 2009. The ship is assigned to the U.S. Atlantic Fleet, with its homeport in Norfolk, Virginia.
