When using a 3D printer, you’re bound to encounter situations where the scraper blade is damaged, the blade itself is broken, or no blade is available at all—this model will come to our rescue in such emergencies.
The emergency scraper I designed prints quickly, delivers excellent quality, is highly durable, and won’t scratch the print bed. In the absence of a functional scraper, printing this model is an ideal solution.
It’s perfectly compatible with popular printers on the market, including the Elegoo CC2, P1S, P2S, A1 Mini, and many others—even small-format printers can use it. I’ve fine-tuned the design multiple times in terms of scraper length, thickness, and ergonomic feel.
The scraper measures less than 10 cm in length, and its tip has been optimized and reinforced to withstand the pressure exerted during model removal, making the tip far more resistant to damage.
Personally, I prefer using a printed scraper because I believe it doesn’t harm the heated build plate.
I recommend printing with PETG; I’ve used a budget-brand PETG roll priced at about 15 yuan per spool without encountering issues like easy breakage or difficulty lifting the printed model. You can use it with confidence.
Thank you all for your support!!
