Those gear models are designed to work with the Molodos Spirograph-like drawing templates which you can entirely 3d-print.

Those gear patterns are specially designed to work with my Molodos Spirograph A4 base models, 

in order to:

• bring more pattern diversity
• play with the impact of the number of teeth, and the impact of the guiding shape on the final pattern
• have kids (and parents) learn about divisors, and try to predict which combinaisons will do what

Change the adapter to produce different patterns. Try to match gears with common divisors to generate “finite” patterns.

• Divisors for 46: 46,23,2,1
• Divisors for 60: 60,30,20,15,12,10,6,5,4,3,2,1
• Divisors for 69: 69,23,3,1

46 & 69 teeth gears will be producing best results with the original 276 teeth adaptor as well as 184 teeth adaptor

while the 60 teeth gears are much more versatile
