A modern, faceted diamond-shaped light housing designed for a 6 cm LED disc (available from Maker’s Supply). Printed in two interlocking parts, it blends crisp geometry with soft illumination — ideal as an ambient, night, or decorative light.

The base and diffuser sections are separate: simply place your LED disc into the lower shell, then rest the upper diffuser on top. The internal ridge keeps the top perfectly aligned without glue or clips.

Shown here in Bambu Labs Indigo Purple PLA (base) and Jade White PLA (top) — but looks equally striking in metallics, pastels, or contrasting colour schemes.
Optimised for FDM printing; no supports needed for the shallow light if oriented correctly.

Make one, light it up, and pretend you mined it yourself.

 

For the large top, it is recommended that it is printed as per the file and a support is used.  I have tested it without supports, but printing in PLA with a PETG support is highly recommended.  The base and shallow top can both be printed without supports.
