The National Stadium, also known as the “Bird’s Nest,” is located in the southern central area of the Beijing Olympic Park. It served as the main stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies, track and field events, and the final matches of the football tournament for both the Summer Olympics and Paralympics, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics.
