Tic Tac Slide – Beta 0.5 Edition
This is a great model that’s extremely fun to print, play, and tweak! Its unique design and functional gameplay make it a standout piece. Inspired by Evet17’s Connect 4-style model on MakerWorld, I created my own version in Fusion 360 with a fresh twist: instead of placing pieces anywhere, you slide them down from the top—adding strategy and challenge.

This is the 0.5 (Beta) version, and I’m actively improving it with each update. While the internal geometry is complex and may extend print time, the result is absolutely worth it. I’ve printed this model multiple times to ensure reliability—if your print fails, it’s likely a settings issue, not the model itself.

Gameplay Concept:
A hybrid of Tic Tac Toe and Connect 4, this game forces players to drop pieces from the top, adding a layer of strategy and making each move count.

Print Settings:

• Infill: 30%–50%
• Infill Type: Gyroid
• Supports: No
• Brim: Not recommended
  • If adhesion is an issue, try a textured sheet with better grip
• Filament: PLA or PETG

Advanced Tips:

• XY Size Compensation (PrusaSlicer):
  • Inner pieces: -0.05 mm
  • Game board: -0.2 mm
• Sequential Printing:
  • Highly recommended for inner pieces to reduce stringing and improve quality
• Preconfigured File:
  • A .3MF file is included with optimized settings to help streamline your print
