There is no 80’s gaming without this iconic 8-bit computer made in 1982. So many great games!

The first computer for many of us. But most of us don’t have it anymore.

So maybe build a little model to have it in your print collection? If not full size machine then this 12cm x 6cm memoralia on your desk? You love retro-gaming or have an interest in old computers? This model is also for you :)

Maybe you are a modeler and you like to glue plastic models? Try something different than planes and ships!

Maybe you are looking for some gift idea for some gamer or modeler?

Highly-detailed retro computer model in the form of kit card.

Easy to assemble and fits Prusa MINI and A1 MINI plates.

I’m not providing any assembly manual for this one. Let it be a puzzle. Oh well, the very easy one. Like in modern computer – everything fits just in one place.

If you are confused about 12 big pegs – that’s two sets of 6 with different clearance. Use 6 that fits best after print as a guide to glue both parts of the case.

Check my other models for another 8-bit legend - Atari 65XE / 130XE Kit Card! :)

How to print this model?

This model will benefit from low layer height and small nozzle. 0.4mm nozzle is absolute max, don’t try with bigger one. I recommend to print it with 0.16mm layer height or lower.

My models were printed with 0.4 nozzle and 0.16mm layer height on Ender 3 V2 (kit card) and 0.4 nozzle and 0.15mm layer height on Prusa MINI (assembled model).

There are two Kit Cards type to choose.

All-in-one Kit Card - ready to be hand painted after print or to be painted in ACE / AMS / CFS and print in multicolor

Separate Kit Card for each color - The easiest way to print this model in color without ACE / AMS. Cards are labeled as a „Black Parts”, „Grey parts” and „Main Color”. Why main color and not white parts? You may print it in white, beige or light grey to look like new machine or go for more yellow-ish filament to show it current 2024 state :)

Most of the parts will fits as they are. Both parts of case, keyboard and function keys need to be glued together, the rest only if they are loose. You may glue them if you like of course.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts

Not for children under 3 years

If you like it and you want to give it thumbs up, please also consider downloading it. It cost you just one additional click and it’s very important to me. Also check my other models, maybe you will find something interesting :) Thank you!

Happy printing! :)
