A simple KIT for DIY printer enclosure for table top.

Designed with IKEA LACK in mind, will work with any table.

Beside printed files, you will need:

  • 4mm thick plywood:
    • 2x 550 by 500 mm (sides)
    • 1x 550 by 550 mm (top)
    • 1x 538 by 500 mm (back)
  • plexiglass:

    • 1x 550 by 500 mm (front)
  • 20x bolts and nuts, 6 mm
  • 4x furniture magnetic door catches (to mount front plexiglass, to make it removable)
  • filament spool stand (to put on top of enclosure)

All sizes are for IKEA LACK (is 550 by 550 mm) and Ender 3 printer (about 500 mm tall), calculate your sizes accordingly. You can seal the enclosure with silicone, hot glue or stripes of rubber.

Filament pass is designed for 1.75mm filament.

Joints are marked as follows:
B/T - bottom or top
F/R - front or rear
L/R - left or right
with arrow pointing forward.
For example BFL meand "Bottom Front Left" side.

I will also add a version with option to "slide in" the plexiglass (no magnets needed).
