Description:

At the request of @DelineDesign, I created modular bases for flying miniatures.

I created 3 bases with diameters: 28mm, 40mm and 80mm.

The central rod is available in two diameters: 2.5mm and 5mm.

In turn, the two variants of the central rod are available in 3 heights: 30mm, 50mm and 70mm.

If you need other sizes, just let me know and I will add them.

Printing instructions:

The support is already set up to meet the needs of the models.

Choose the base size you want, as well as the type of rod you want, removing the rest, before proceeding with the printing.

Assembly instructions:

Once you have finished printing and cleaning the base, just insert the central rod into the hole of the base from the bottom side; insert gently, without forcing it too much, to avoid accidentally breaking it.

If you encounter excessive resistance, I recommend lightly filing the inside surface of the hole. If it seems to get stuck during insertion, I recommend screwing the rod in, as if it were a screw.

Alternatively, since the entry tolerance can depend on the filament used, you can modify the size of the holes by enlarging them by 0.1/0.2mm (I would not recommend overdoing it, to avoid it being too wide; in this case you would need to use glue to hold it in place).

Post-processing:

The rods do not require any care, while the bases require removal of the support; I recommend using a thin tool such as a pair of curved scissors, being careful not to hurt yourself. Make sure to completely remove the remaining support from the bottom of the hole in the base or the base of the rod may not fit correctly, causing a protrusion that will make the base unstable.
