Box Ventilation Design for My i3 Printer

My enclosure is constructed from 8mm thick plastic sheets joined together.

I used a Φ32 hole cutter, a 3.2mm drill bit, and a 4mm tap (though the tap isn’t strictly necessary).

Since the vent ports are routed outside through the window, I installed 16 2.5mm neodymium magnets to serve as magnetic fasteners for the window screen.

 

After drilling the holes, you can use a dedicated hole‑drilling jig to precisely align and drill all four mounting holes.
