The Ladybird Fidget is a fully articulated, print-in-place bug.  It’s made up of neatly segmented plates that flex and wiggle just like the real thing.  This lovely little desk companion catches the eye with its glossy shell and stubby legs. It’s perfect for anyone who likes to fidget while they think or simply wants something cute and quirky on their shelf.  Available in two versions, it comes as a bold single-colour print or a full AMS multicolour build featuring the classic red shell and black spotted markings.

Since it’s fully assembled, there’s no glue or clicking involved. Simply peel it off the plate and give it a wiggle.  For the AMS version, take a little extra care with the colour changes around the head to keep the white eye markings crisp. Feel free to experiment with the colourway too. A black and orange combo gives it a completely different beetle look using the same file.  It’s a great option for beginners because there’s no assembly and no supports required.

Filament Colour & Material

PLA is the way to go here since it's a desk piece rather than something that needs outdoor durability. For the AMS version, a true red and black combo gives the classic ladybird look, and for the single colour version a bright hot pink or cherry red both work brilliantly.

Layer height: 0.16mm
Uses 0.6mm line widths for the default, initial, and outer walls, so a 0.6mm nozzle is recommended for best results
