Disclaimer: I was asked to design a replacement part for this based on a provided broken part and have not tested this personally, but the part was confirmed working once installed. This is a heavy-duty replacement gearbox alignment link (thrust bridge) for caravan and camper van mechanical stabilizer legs. It is specifically designed to replace the internal plastic links found in similar European aluminum drop-down steady legs. The part is approximately 80mm in length and serves as a critical drivetrain component. When you crank your stabilizer leg to lift or ground your van, the intersecting bevel gears experience massive axial thrust forces pushing them apart. The original factory plastic links loop over the horizontal drive shaft to anchor it to the lower carriage, forcing the gears to stay perfectly meshed. Over time, the factory parts stretch, warp, or snap, causing the gears to skip, bind, or strip completely under load.
