A rugged, structurally reinforced rear wheel hub replacement designed specifically for the Worx Landroid L-series robotic lawnmowers (including the WR150 and WR153 models). These mowers are engineered for 1/2-acre yards, and this replacement hub matches the factory 215mm diameter.

⚠️ Note: This model is designed for the large L-series chassis and will not fit M-series models!

This model was designed as a direct factory replacement after an unfortunate driveway collision crushed the OEM wheel hub.

This print allows you to completely salvage and reuse the original rubber tire tread from your broken factory wheel, or you can 3D print a custom TPU tread design (such as this Tractor Tread design).

• Pro-Tip: If you have trouble removing the tread from your old wheel or seating it onto this new print, use a heat gun to make the rubber far more pliable! Just be careful not to hold the gun too close or keep it in one spot for too long.

Design Philosophy

I designed this from scratch in Onshape by taking exact measurements from my remaining stock wheel. It is nearly an exact functional match to the factory part, with two intentional upgrades:

1. Printability Over Hubcaps: I moved the flat surface of the wheel to the exterior of the mower instead of putting it on the inside and using a factory hubcap. This orientation makes the wheel incredibly easy to 3D print face-down and completely eliminates the need for massive support structures.

2. Solid Exterior Face: I chose to keep the exterior face entirely solid and flat. While it uses slightly more filament, it significantly boosts the wheel's structural integrity and prevents yard debris from getting trapped in open spokes. (My mower navigates around pine trees that love to jam branches into exposed wheels at every opportunity!)

Recommended Print Settings

To ensure this wheel can handle years of outdoor elements and continuous motor torque, do not skimp on structural integrity!

• Filament Material: ASA or PETG is highly recommended for its superior UV stability, impact resistance, and weatherproofing. Avoid standard PLA, as it will deform under hot summer conditions. I printed mine using Elegoo ASA, and the results are fantastic.

• Wall Loops / Perimeters: 4 to 6 perimeters minimum to reinforce the center splines and outer rim. I utilized the "0.20 Strength @Elegoo CC 0.4 nozzle" profile in Elegoo Slicer, which defaults to 6 perimeters.

• Infill: 20% to 40% (Gyroid or Cubic pattern recommended for multidirectional strength). I went with 20% Cubic infill because the solid center hub architecture is already inherently beefy.

• Top/Bottom Layers: 5 to 6 layers. I stuck with the "Strength" preset default, which slices 6 top layers and 5 bottom layers.

• Supports: You can get away without them. The only overhang is the minor internal recess where the nut and washer clamp the wheel to the axle. I chose to use a tiny bit of support here since it's a small area and the final surface is completely hidden behind the mounting washer anyway.
