Long before steel was forged, the old tribes carved their gods into wood and bone. They believed the wolf carried the spirit of the hunt itself, and that wearing its likeness in battle would let that spirit pass into the wearer's blood. This piece is what they imagined when they closed their eyes. A wolf's face fused with the sacred knotwork of war paint, copper veins running like fire across silver fur.

Bro... this thing looks like it's about to howl off the wall.

Print Settings:
Printed standing at 0.16mm layer height for the best surface quality and detail resolution. A laydown orientation should also work and might print a bit faster, though I haven't tested that myself. Standing is my go to for crisp knotwork lines. Tree supports recommended.

About the Model & Painting:
This piece already looks stunning in raw black, but with a dry-brush finish it transforms into a true centerpiece artifact. Printed in matte black PLA, then dry-brushed in metallic silver acrylic across the fur for that ancient stone and metal look. The knotwork war paint running across the brow and muzzle was then picked out in Nicpro Copper, tracing every loop and braid for that fire and shadow contrast.

This one looks fierce on a wall, but mounted on a front door it hits completely different. Imagine guests walking up to that staring back at them. 🐺
