đ€This is smartphone holder that allows for some degree of angle adjustment!
The section where the smartphone rests can be rotated.
I wanted a holder that would let me rotate the phone between portrait and landscape modes while it was still in the stand, so I designed and built this as a learning project.
đŠSince I love ducks, I incorporated a duck motif into the design.
Assembly is simple, but because the angle adjustment relies on high friction between the parts, you might need a bit of force to insert the central pin.
Iâm not very strong, so I actually tapped the piece against my desk to force the pin in. If you find it difficult, feel free to do the sameâtap it lightly against a hard desk or use a hammer to drive it in. Tapping it vertically works best.
đAssembly Instructionsđ
ă»Connect the "foot" and "support" parts using a "pin."
ă»Connect the "ConnectParts" and "support" parts using a "pin."
ă»Fit the "gear" part into the "holdermain" part.
ă»Fit the "ConnectParts" and "gear" together, paying close attention to their orientation.
A downward-facing arrow is printed on the "ConnectParts." Please attach it so that the arrow points downward.

The correct orientation is with the arrow pointing toward the Duck design engraved on the on the "foot" part.
Suitable materials for printing are PLA+ and PLA
I tested various materials, but PLA Silk is unsuitable due to its fragility; the only part where PLA Silk can be used is the "holdermain."
You must print the "foot," "pin1and2," and "support" parts using the same material.
Mixing different materials caused issues with assemblyâsuch as fitment problemsâlikely due to differences in shrinkage rates.
It might be fun to use different colors for the various parts.
Iâve also included a duck decoration for the Foot part to make the duck design stand out (you'll need glue to attach it).
Print it in your favorite colors!
I am not an English speaker, so I am using machine translation.
Please excuse any oddities.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask.
