Fruit Picker

A tool that allows you to pick fruit from high branches without climbing or standing on tiptoes—also known as a high-altitude fruit picker or fruit-picking shears.

Common Types

1. Bag-Collection Type Picker

   • The head consists of a metal ring combined with a fabric bag, with metal curved tines at the top.

   • Insert the fruit into the ring and pull—the stem is snapped off, and the fruit drops directly into the bag.

   • Suitable for: apples, pears, peaches, oranges, persimmons, and mangoes.

2. Scissor-Type High-Altitude Picker

   • A small pair of scissors controlled by a pull cord; a single pull severs the fruit stem.

   • A mesh net is attached below to catch the fruit, preventing it from falling to the ground and getting damaged.

   • Suitable for: citrus fruits, pomelos, lychees, longans, and loquats.

3. Telescoping Fruit-Picking Pole

   • The pole is extendable from 1.5 m to 5 m and made of lightweight aluminum alloy.

   • It can be fitted with different fruit-picking heads, making it highly versatile.

4. Simple Manual Picker

   • No pole—simply attach it directly to a bamboo pole or wooden stick for use.

   • Low cost, ideal for occasional picking in a small home garden.
