The Gugu Chicken Orange Peeler lets you effortlessly peel oranges in just half an hour—ready to enjoy fresh, hand-peeled citrus in no time, with a print time of just 9.68 seconds.

Back in our childhood, we’d often receive an orange peeler as a free gift when purchasing oranges by the case. But as we grew older and life got busier, we rarely bought whole cartons of oranges anymore—instead opting to buy only what we needed. As a result, those handy orange peelers stopped coming as gifts. While using a small knife is one option, it can be a bit risky, especially for children and seniors. That’s why, building on the functionality of standard orange peelers while adding new features, I designed the Gugu Chicken Orange Peeler.

The design includes a dedicated 8x3mm magnetic mounting slot, allowing it to double as a fridge magnet—and it can stick securely to any magnetic surface or sheet.

Both PLA and PETG are suitable for printing; however, we don’t recommend using light-colored filaments, as they’re prone to yellowing from contact with orange peel.

For assembly, we recommend using AMS (Additive Manufacturing Software) to optimize the print job. The parts are printed individually and then disassembled—gluing is required, and the 8x3mm magnetic slot is pre‑configured for easy integration.
