The Roundland Shark bears a striking resemblance to a young shark, with a massive dorsal fin atop its head and two prominent protuberances flanking either side of its skull. Its body is predominantly deep blue, while the area from its lower jaw down to its belly is rendered in a rich red hue. A pale blue stripe runs along both the dorsal surface and the two raised structures on its head. It sports an enormous mouth filled with sharp, pointed teeth, and its limbs are short, sturdy, and each divided into three toes. The male Roundland Shark features a notched dorsal fin.
