Shanhai Jing Mecha Series No. 47 – “Qinggeng”-Class Armed Fighter, Model Qingyi

This series features mecha designs inspired by mythical creatures from the Shanhai Jing. In addition, there are Bagua Mecha (based on renowned mountains and rivers across China’s provinces, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Li, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and Mythical Mecha (featuring iconic figures like Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).

Simple to print, easy to assemble, quick to customize, highly reliable—less likely to fail or get damaged during assembly!

Note: To prevent printing failures, it’s best to apply a thin layer of adhesive or use a spray lubricant on the print bed—most issues with “chao mian” (poor adhesion) stem from an overly smooth build plate.

The model requires no supports during printing (though you can add a skirt if the base plate isn’t sufficiently tacky), and assembly doesn’t call for glue or metal hardware—just press firmly or gently tap with a small hammer if parts feel a bit tight. A truly convenient Chinese-style assembly kit!

Qinggeng:

A figure from ancient Chinese mythology, resembling a magpie in appearance—with a blue body, white beak, white eyes, and a white tail. It is said to ward off plagues, and its call sounds just like its name.
