Model Details

This is a blank slider and indicator. One can use the Text function in BambuStudio to enter any two-way indicator. I added a divider in the center of the body to help align the text. I also added two designs to get the creative juices flowing: ON/OFF, CLEAN/DIRTY.

It is designed to be held by two magnets. Various plates are available in the Designer Print Profile to be compatible with a variety of magnet sizes. The magnet holes are push-fit, but super glue is recommended for a reliable, permanent install (check polarity when installing!). The slider has a 0.1mm tolerance for a tight, smooth glide, which I found empirically to be the gliding Goldilocks zone.

Plate 1: Blank sign body sized for two 12x3mm magnets
Plate 2: Slider
Plate 3: ON/OFF sign body sized for two 12x3mm magnets
Plate 4: CLEAN/DIRTY sign body sized for two 12x3mm magnets
Plate 5: Blank sign body sized for two 10x3mm magnets
Plate 6: Blank sign body sized for two 8x3mm magnets

Assembly:

• Insert the bottom of the slider into the bottom groove of the main body
• Align the slider with the top notches of the main body, and press firmly. Some have used cooking oil to help.
• Move slider back and forth until the movement is smooth gliding! This will remove debris in the groove. **Slide back and forth quickly ~20 times.**
