I'd tried many other spool holder designs for larger spools. but nothing really fit the bill.  I wasn't a fan of the spool rollers themselves being able to be knocked out (by accident of course), so I decided to come up with a design that makes the spool holder a single entity.  I've added little collars that can be screwed into the spool holder base (using M2x8mm) screws that hold the ball bearings nice and snug, while allowing uninhibited smooth rolling.  Not to mention, the rollers have been spread apart more, allowing the spool to sit lower, helping keep it's profile smaller.

I also wasn't a fan of other designs rollers being one piece, making having to print them a challenge due to the built on pegs for the ball bearings.  Not to mention, I'd had those pegs break off the spool roller while swapping spools.  My design makes the pegs a separate part that can be inserted into the rollers ends with no glue, and stay nice and snug.  Plus, this allows you to ramp up the  infill on the pegs to make durability much more robust. 

As for the spools themselves, they can be printed with no supports whatsoever!  The peg hole has been radiused inside to accept the pegs, but also allows it to print with no internal supports.

Ok.  Is it a bit overkill?  Absolutely.  Was it a blast to design?  Hell yea!  Does it work really well?  You betcha!
