Since I lost the lid to my water bottle, I decided to 3D print a new one myself—to keep dust out and prevent my kitten from sneaking sips of my water.
As I was working on it, I realized that without any patterns, the design looked a bit plain, so I added a radial, eye‑catching pattern to the surface.
Because the lid needed a handle that required screwing in place, I went ahead and incorporated a small pointer into the design—perfect for tracking how much you’ve drunk over time. Of course, you can also just print everything except the pointer and use it purely as a lid.
