I used to have another fan cover which I thought looked cool. However I noticed it made the fan pretty loud so I designed this with silence as purpose. But I really like the looks of it as well. Reminds me of a jet exhaust or something.
As for noise, it works! Not having any kind of grill in front of the fan removes turbulence/whine.
