I printed out the handle that IDZignit designed, but I was unable to get it to seat onto the z-axis.
I stretched out the mounting shank to give myself more clearance between the top of the threaded rod and the frame.

Since I could not get the original handle to thread onto the rod, I took the thread from the lead screw that RichardJean designed and blended it into the mounting shank.

The crank now threads down onto the rod like a dream, and it will wind the Z-axis up no problem. It will not lower the Z-axis back down (in backs off of the rod instead) but that is not a big deal because 99% of the time if I need to adjust the Z-Axis it is to lift it up out of the way, not to lower it down.
