This is a slow feeder for your furry friend, I tested it on my dog with peanut butter and she loved it, what would have taken her 5-10 seconds to eat with out it took her 5+ minuets with it, she liked it, i would recommend using TPU for the bottom but you don't have to it also works with solid pieces as long as they aren't to big.
