I was looking for something simple and minimalist to decorate my home, so I designed this “bubble”-style candle holder.

I absolutely love how it looks on the bookshelf—I’ve included real-life photos of my living room for you to see.

It’s a truly rewarding print: it requires no supports, and you can have the finished piece ready in no time.

 

My top tips for achieving a flawless finish:

  • Filament: I printed mine using PLA Wood and light blue Basic PLA. I believe any filament will look amazing—but textured filaments are especially stunning.
  • Caution: Please handle fire with care. I use these as pure decorative pieces; if you’re planning to light real candles, be sure to extinguish them well before the flame gets too close to the plastic.

My print settings:

  • Wall Thickness: 2 layers
  • Infill: 10% Gyroid
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm
  • No Supports—ready to print!
