My spool holder broke this year. I’d been relying entirely on the CFS, but then I fancied printing with some old, slightly brittle filament rather than throwing it away. The CFS doesn’t really like filaments that are a bit brittle, but no problem with direct drive.

So I modelled this new arm. 

The original spool-holding shaft fits perfectly into it, and the whole thing assembles

It's ok (so far) with PLA, but you can off course use PETG if you need it to be more durable.
