Ne Zha: The Demon Child Sets the Heavens Ablaze

【The Story Behind the Name】
When Ne Zha tore through the Scroll of the Investiture of the Gods and shattered the Heavenly Laws at the Assembly of the Twelve Golden Immortals, the Heavenly Court sought to imprison the Demon Child’s body forever in the Abyss of Heaven, shackled by the Mandate of Heaven. Yet Ne Zha cleaved the storm clouds with his Fire-Pointed Spear, stood firm upon molten lava ablaze with the Samadhi True Fire, and unfurled the Celestial Cloth, which spiraled into towering flames that pierced the very heavens. “If the Mandate of Heaven demands I bow my head, then I shall burn right through this celestial dome!” The soaring pillar of fire ripped open the heavens, scattering the gods in the consuming blaze of heavenly retribution. This single blaze burned away the injustice of the Heavenly Way and ignited an unyielding will to defy fate—my destiny is mine to shape, not heaven’s; if the Mandate of Heaven stands in my way, I shall rewrite it myself!

【Design Analysis】
This 18-centimeter-tall Ne Zha action figure captures the film’s iconic Demon Child pose: a wide, toothy grin that subtly conveys rebellious defiance, eyes blazing with fierce determination, and the signature sinister smile perfectly recreated. The left arm is extended forward to form a defensive angle, while the right arm grips the Fire-Pointed Spear behind the waist. On the layered lava base, the Samadhi True Fire burns fiercely, and the flowing Celestial Cloth is secured in streamlined fashion, creating a fiery halo that encircles the figure. The inspiration for this creation stems from the profound impact of the film—whether it’s Ne Zha’s journey of defying prejudice and rebelling against the heavens, or the comprehensive breakthroughs made by Chinese animation in both technology and storytelling—all of it ignites passion and excitement. By using 3D printing to recreate this classic image, we pay tribute to the rise of Chinese animation and give tangible form to the spirit of “refusing to accept one’s fate.”

【3D Printing Installation Guide】
Assembly instructions: Arrange the parts according to color categories.

Support structure: The 3MF file includes support structures in certain areas; if you’re confident, you can adjust the print settings accordingly.

Disassembly and assembly: The model is designed in separate parts, no AMS required, but glue is needed for assembly—no additional hardware is necessary. All joints feature fool-proof interlocking tabs and clear assembly prompts, making it easy even for beginners. The main body is disassembled along the garment’s texture, and the limbs are connected via pins. The Fire-Pointed Spear’s tip, shaft, and handle are designed as three-piece modular components: first thread one end through Ne Zha’s hand, then secure the other end. For the Celestial Cloth, we recommend using equipment like the P1 series; the A1 model tends to be less stable and more prone to failure. The six detachable flame-effect pieces and rock elements can be displayed together or mixed and matched freely—you can choose the colors of the Samadhi True Fire and the molten lava. We’d love to see your creative combinations in the comments!

【Tribute and Legacy】
We thank Director Jiaozi for reinventing this rebellious spirit through the Ne Zha: The Demon Child series, breathing new life into traditional mythology and empowering it to “break free from stereotypes” in the modern era. This model is not only a three-dimensional representation of a beloved IP, but also a tangible tribute from countless creators inspired by Ne Zha’s indomitable spirit to the belief that “my destiny is in my own hands.” May every workspace adorned with this model ignite a passionate fire of courage to challenge the impossible.
