Pegasus Seiya rebuilt as a low poly wireframe: a geometric take on the classic pose, made as a display piece.

The design keeps the pose and silhouette instantly recognisable while reducing everything to clean facets and open lines, so it works as a desk or shelf piece rather than a toy. The figure prints flat on the bed, needs no supports at all, and comes with its own custom base.

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Line width: 0.5 mm

• Walls / perimeters: 2

• Top / bottom layers: 3

• Infill: 10-15% (it makes almost no difference on this model, the wireframe is built almost entirely from perimeters)

• Supports: not required

ASSEMBLY AND TOLERANCE

The slots in the base have a built-in tolerance of 0.25 mm, which gives a perfect snug fit on my printer. If your printer runs tighter or looser and you need smaller holes for a firmer fit, adjust the X-Y contour compensation (XY hole compensation) in your slicer.

Tip: print the base on a separate plate if you need to tweak this setting, so it doesn't affect the main figure.

COLOUR IDEAS

Matte black against a light background is what you see in the photos and it is by far the most striking option. Metallic gold or bronze suits the Pegasus Cloth if you want something warmer.
