The Blink video doorbell joint with the mounting plate is not very solid and waterproofed. This mount offers a visor to protect to shade, and protect the camera with its mounting plate. Put the camera mounting plate inside this mount and screw to the wall, then snap the doorbell inside. Enough space is provided to allow removing the doorbell for battery change.
