A moment of sweetness, sculpted in high detail

This "Best Friends" sculpture captures the tender moment of a little "boop" between a girl and her kitten. The model has been sculpted with an incredible focus on detail: you will notice the natural flow of the girl's ponytail, the realistic, soft folds in her clothing, and the elegant, smooth posture of the cat. The delicate contact point between their faces has been carefully designed to convey a feeling of absolute gentleness.

Technical Notes & Supports

To preserve this high level of detail and successfully print the complex geometry, this model does require a fair amount of supports. The overhangs, such as the girl's chin, her raised arms, and the cat's snout, will need a solid foundation during the printing process.

Print recommendations:

• Support type: We highly recommend using tree supports (or organic supports). They will significantly reduce surface scarring and make the post-processing and removal stage a breeze.

• Resolution: For FDM printers, a layer height of 0.12mm or 0.16mm is ideal for bringing out the smooth curves. This model is also a perfect candidate for Resin printing (SLA/DLP), which will make every tiny nuance pop.

• Infill: 10-15% is more than enough.
