1. Integrated Hinge Mechanism
The entire structure is printed as a single, seamless part. The left and right arms are connected to the hook base via an embedded, thin hinge—eliminating the need for separate pivots or snap‑on components. A hollow deformation groove at the base of each arm leverages the material’s inherent flexibility to enable smooth, reciprocating opening and closing. Rounded transitions at the mating surfaces ensure uniform gaps when closed and effortless, snag‑free movement during operation.
2. Arm‑Positioning Lock Grooves
Each arm features built‑in locating recesses on its inner side. When fully extended, these grooves engage with corresponding protrusions on the base, locking the arms in place and maintaining a straight, stable configuration that resists inward collapse under load. The arm tips are chamfered and reinforced to prevent clothing from snagging on sharp edges.
3. Reinforced Load‑Bearing Hook
The top hook is integrally thickened during molding, with a dedicated clearance for threading wires. It accommodates steel wire clotheslines and indoor hanging rods, while its curved design distributes tension evenly, reducing the risk of slipping during outdoor drying.
Portability and Storage Features
1. Foldable, Flat‑Pack Design
Both arms can be folded inward simultaneously, collapsing into a narrow, flat profile whose thickness is only about one‑third of the unfolded state. With no protruding or loose parts, it takes up minimal space when stored.

As a monolithic, seamless unit, the hanger is exceptionally lightweight. Once folded, it easily fits into backpacks, suitcases, or pockets, making it ideal for business trips, camping, or short excursions.

Printing Guidelines
We recommend using PLA or PETG filaments. No additional supports are required in the hinge area; the parts can be printed flat. The thin hinge layers provide sufficient flexibility for repeated bending, ensuring durability even with frequent opening and closing.
