Hi Nexprint Community!

I am tired of losing the nozzles of my turbo fan, so I designed my own.

Before looking at downloading, please note that the nozzle **only** fits this fan connection:

My design differs from the original design:

  1. The original design has a base that is fixed to the air flow cone with three screws. I simplified the design to a fixed one nozzle block, eliminating the need for the precision screwing.
  2. The original design has 11 arms that connect the magnet holder to the base with a 23 degrees of tilt angle from the axes. I removed the 11 arms and reduced them to 3.
  3. The original design has the magnet holder looking towards the nozzle outlet. I changed it to face the corresponing magnet at the fan base, thereby achieving a slight force in connection.

You will need a 10x3mm round magnet. Make sure to use a very small amount of glue to stick the magnet. There is a 0.5 mm of gap in the magnet housing which the glue can travel, so adding too much glue will spill out and will impact the fit of the nozzle to the fan base.

This is the first version of my design. Also, my first attempt in painting - that's why the paint job is awful.

I'm using this as a daily driver and looking at where it needs further improvements. Please let me know your comments, improvement ideas, action shots in the comments.

Cheers,
Tolga
