Red Queen | "Through the Looking-Glass" Chess
“Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”
Step onto the board with caution, for you are in the presence of royalty. Fast-paced, demanding, and always one step ahead, the Red Queen commands the game with absolute authority. Are you prepared to follow her rules?
Introducing the Red Queen — a majestic and formidable addition to your mad and beautiful Looking-Glass world.
About the model
Look at her commanding posture: in that sharp, imperious gaze, you can see a ruler who tolerates no delay and expects absolute obedience. The model is meticulously detailed, capturing the haughty elegance of the Red Queen. From the rich, ornate embroidery of her regal gown and the signature high collar to the scepter held firmly in her grasp. She stands proudly on a neat base bearing the clear inscription "RED QUEEN".
She doesn't just wait for a move; she dictates the pace of the entire game, ready to dash across the board in the blink of an eye.
♟ The Grand Game Continues (Collection)
This imposing figure is the next major piece in our growing collection of 3D-printable chess pieces based on Lewis Carroll's tale "Through the Looking-Glass".
She is the perfect antagonist (or powerful ally) to the previously released White Pawn Alice. Follow the profile so you don't miss the upcoming pieces as we continue to populate the board with mad Knights, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, and many others!
⚙ Royal Printing Tips (Settings)
A queen of this stature demands a flawless execution. Follow these rules to ensure a perfect print:
- Recommended technology: FDM printing. Use a layer height of 0.16 mm or less (with a 0.4 mm or 0.2 mm nozzle) to accurately capture the intricate ornamental patterns on her dress and her sharp facial features.
- Scale: The model is scaled by default to fit standard chess proportions. You can easily scale it up in your slicer to use as a standalone collectible statuette.
Supports: Tree supports (organic supports) are only needed for her chin and some protruding elements of her costume.

Remember the rules of her kingdom: speak in French when you can't think of the English, turn out your toes as you walk, and remember who you are!

👑 The Next Move: Tweedledum & Tweedledee
The board is getting crowded! Standing just around the corner are the most contrary brothers in the world: Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Representing the White Bishops, they are ready to join the fray with their unique items and peculiar attitudes. Follow the profile so you don't miss their grand entrance!
