• Color: Light gray or beige (best detail)
• Ideal temperature: 22–28 °C (very important for DLP)

🔹 Layer Height

• 0.05 mm → best balance between detail and reliability
• 0.03 mm → maximum detail (slower, more sensitive)

🔹 Exposure Settings

(DLP cures faster than LCD, don’t overdo it)

• Normal Exposure: 1.8 – 2.2 s
  👉 Start at 2.0 s
• Bottom Exposure: 25 – 30 s
• Bottom Layers: 5

Adjustments:

• Fragile wings / broken tips → +0.2 s
• Loss of fine detail → −0.1 to −0.2 s

🔹 Lift Settings

(Critical for wings and tail)

• Lift Distance: 6 mm
• Lift Speed: 60 mm/min
• Retract Speed: 150 mm/min

Going faster here = snapped feathers.

🔹 Anti-Aliasing

• Enabled
• Level: 2 or 4
• Sharpen: OFF

🧱 Model Orientation (VERY IMPORTANT)

❌ Do NOT print it vertically
❌ Do NOT place wings flat or horizontal

✅ Correct orientation:

• Tilt 30–40°
• Head slightly upward
• Wings angled diagonally
• Tail pointing downward, never parallel to the build plate

This reduces:

• Suction forces
• Wing tip failures
• Surface scars

🪛 Supports (this decides success or failure)

Type

• Auto supports + manual reinforcement
• Medium + light supports
• Avoid heavy supports

Where to support

• Wing tips (many)
• Tail feathers (many)
• Talons
• Beak (light)

Suggested contact sizes

• Tips: 0.25 – 0.30 mm
• Body: 0.35 – 0.40 mm

Rule of thumb:
👉 More light supports > fewer heavy supports

🧼 Post-Processing

• IPA wash: 30–60 s
• Dry completely
• UV cure: 2–3 min, rotating the model
  (wings first, then body)
