This “Yan Ying Die Cui Wei Zhu” 3D‑printed miniature of an ancient architectural structure is inspired by the Zhenwu Pavilion in Rong County, Guangxi. It faithfully replicates the architectural layout of the Zhenwu Pavilion, where the front hall and side pavilions are seamlessly integrated with the main hall, capturing the iconic design of Jiangnan’s Four Great Pavilions within a compact scale.
The front-side side pavilions feature exquisitely crafted pyramidal roofs, with every detail—from the intricately carved balustrades to the ornate bird-and-flower brackets—rendered with astonishing precision. Together with the main hall’s double-eaved hip roof, these elements create a layered aesthetic of “shadows cascading over verdant peaks.” The main hall faithfully reproduces the Zhenwu Pavilion’s signature nail‑free timber construction, meticulously recreating core architectural features such as the suspended columns and intricate dougong brackets—while the natural clay‑based material further enhances the tactile texture and historical depth of the ancient structure.
With auspicious symbolism for the Year of the Horse, this miniature not only serves as a tangible embodiment of traditional architectural culture, perfect for display on desks, as part of dioramas, or as a collectible piece of cultural merchandise—but it also invites hands‑on customization through DIY coloring, allowing users to infuse their own personal style. Whether used as a distinctive home décor item or a thoughtful cultural gift in the Year of the Horse, this miniature brings the timeless beauty of this “architectural marvel of southern China” into everyday living spaces in a captivating, scaled‑down form.
