Hello everyone, this is Xiaoyu Loves Printing! Today we’re presenting a classic miniature architectural文创 model—the Qingdao Jiangsu Road Christian Church.

Built in 1910, this century-old structure is renowned for its iconic green bell tower, red-tiled roofs with yellow walls, and distinctive German castle-style architecture. In this modeling and design project, I focused on accurately capturing and reproducing the church’s signature silhouette and façade details, including its massive stone base, round windows, and classic arched doorways. The entire model has been optimized for 3D printing, resulting in a print that boasts crisp contours and rich detail—making it an ideal desktop ornament, a prized architectural model collection piece, or a unique文创 souvenir.

🖨️ Printing Recommendations (Print Settings):

• Multicolor Printing Compatibility: This model is perfectly suited for multicolor printing. By using distinct colors for the green of the bell tower and doors/windows, the brick-red of the roof, the beige of the walls, and the gray of the stone base, you can faithfully recreate the church’s nuanced color palette.
• Material Recommendation: We strongly recommend using Matte PLA. Its matte finish dramatically enhances the realism of the model, giving the walls and roof a more refined, high-end appearance—just like the professional-grade texture shown in the demonstration images.
• Layer Height: A layer height of 0.12 mm or 0.16 mm is recommended to better capture the fine details of the bricks, tiles, and the clock face on the bell tower.
• Supports: For overhanging features such as arches above doorways and eaves edges, we suggest enabling a small number of tree-like supports; for most other areas, the model can be printed without supports.
• Infill: An infill density of 10%–15% is sufficient.
