Mazda RE Yūmiya RX-7 is a track-dominating beast built by the legendary Japanese tuning firm RE Yūmiya based on the RX-7 FD3S, pushing the potential of the rotary engine to its absolute limits.

It is powered by a 13B-REW twin-turbo engine that, after extensive performance tuning, delivers over 280 horsepower, with a soaring 9,000 rpm exhaust note and linear acceleration serving as its signature characteristics.

The body features the “Yūmiya 7 Spec” wide-body kit, combining carbon-fiber front splitters, a Voltex rear wing, and retro pop-up headlights to achieve both aerodynamic efficiency and authentic JDM aesthetics. The suspension has been upgraded with an Aragosta coilover system, paired with a 50:50 weight distribution and lightweight engineering, enabling lap times in the 54-second range at the Tsukuba Circuit—a true legend.

This model also gained fame as the car driven by the Takahashi brothers in “Initial D,” becoming the ultimate symbol of JDM culture and the spirit of the rotary engine.
