Varok Saurfang fought in three major wars. He served as a lieutenant to Orgrim Doomhammer during the Second War, later commanded the Kalimdor coalition in the Battle of the Sands against the Aqir, and led the Kor'kron Legion against the Scourge in Northrend. He took part in the Battle of Orgrimmar that overthrew Garrosh Hellscream and witnessed the Horde's crushing defeat at the Battle of the Broken Shore. Faced with the tyranny of Sylvanas Windrunner, he allied with Anduin Wrynn, High King of the Alliance. In the end, he challenged Sylvanas to a traditional Mak'gora duel before the gates of Orgrimmar and died by her dark magic.
