Introduction: The Sanxingdui Site, formerly known as Xinggu Site, is located on the south bank of the Duck River in Sanxingdui Town, Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, China. It is a Shu culture site dating from the Neolithic Age to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. With a total area of approximately 12 square kilometers, the core area, the ancient capital of the Shu Kingdom, covers about 3.6 square kilometers. It is the most widely distributed, longest-lasting and richest in cultural connotations ancient cultural site discovered in the southwest of China up to 2022.
