I adapted the beautiful FMV support to my dial indicator with pointer that I bought on Amazon some time ago.

 

I discovered that my plate had one angle at -0.8 mm and another at -1.3 mm compared to the highest one. Now everything is level, apart from about 0.1 mm of curvature in the center.
