It all started when I bought black-shell shrimp for my aquarium—and the seller insisted on gifting me a tiny fiddler crab (a mini chili crab)...
At first, I wasn’t sure what to do with it; back in the day, these little guys would die within seconds of being placed in an aquarium.
After some thought, I decided to build him a super‑mini tank—hahahaha!
Key Features
- One‑piece, integrated design
- Extremely easy to print
- Perfectly tailored to fit standard cold‑brew coffee cups (I’m using Luckin Coffee’s cold‑brew cups)
- Just a small amount of water—enough to cover just over half of the stepped structure—is sufficient
- Open to all kinds of creative landscaping possibilities:
- I tossed in three small pebbles to gently weigh down the sunning platform, preventing it from floating up if I added a bit too much water.
- I plucked a bit of moss from a potted plant and added it to the tank—this not only adds visual depth but also helps secure the sunning platform in place.
- Available in two sizes:
- Small size: Ideal for my tiny fiddler crabs
- Large size: Perfect for larger creatures (the extended base plate at the bottom allows you to place additional weights or objects on top to keep the structure stable and prevent it from floating).
