On April 20, 2025, China’s AG600 “Kunlong” civil amphibious aircraft successfully completed rigorous testing and verification, earning its type certificate and officially securing its “birth permit” to enter the market. The Kunlong has also become the largest civil amphibious aircraft in the world by maximum takeoff weight.
