Nour - Tajine Lamp


Light up your home with Nour. The name, meaning "Light" in Darija, is inspired by Morocco's incredibly vibrant culture, which is reflected in its home environments and hospitality.
It's a minimalist reinterpretation of the iconic tajine, whose unique geometry combines modularity and organization. The textures and light reflections are meticulously designed to echo the textile materials used in traditional rafia lamps, creating a warm, inviting glow.

 

This project is born from the collaboration between Collecticraft and Pietro [@Pietro's Handle]. We thank you for being a part of this journey and hope to bring a piece of us into your homes.

 

  • Unique Tajine-Shaped Design: Inspired by Moroccan culture.
  • Beautiful Light Diffusion: The shader is designed to mimic the texture of rafia lamps.
  • Multiple Base Options: Includes a version with decorative patterns and a simple version (printable smooth or with a fuzzy skin effect).
  • Versatile Lighting Compatibility: Can be assembled with E14 bulbs (adapter included), E27 bulbs, or the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit.
  • Vase Mode Shader: For a beautiful, seamless, and efficient print.
  • A Collecticraft x Pietro Collaboration.

Lighting Hardware Options (Choose one):

You can build this lamp using one of the following systems:

  • Option A: E14 bulb + socket/cable (use the included E14 adapter).
  • Option B: E27 bulb + socket/cable.
  • Option C: Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001.

Printing Recommendations

 

Shader:

  • Printing Method: Must be printed in Vase Mode (Spiralize Outer Contour).
  • Material: Translucent PLA or PETG is highly recommended for the best lighting effect.
  • Nozzle: Can be printed with a 0.4mm or 0.8mm nozzle for different looks and print times.

Base (Choose your version):

  • Material: PLA or PETG. Wood or stone-effect filaments look great.
  • Print Profiles: The download includes .3mf profiles for the decorative base, the simple base (smooth), and the simple base with Fuzzy Skin.
  • Infill: 8% (or as specified in the .3mf profile).
  • Supports: Supports manually added under the light attachment of the base.
  • E14 Adapter:
  • Material: Standard PLA or PETG.

Assembly

1. Print the Base of your choice and the Shader. If using an E14 bulb, also print the E14 Adapter.
2. Install your chosen lighting system (E14+adapter, E27, or Bambu LED Kit) into the base, running the cable through the designated opening.
3. Place the Shader on top of the base.
4. Light it up and enjoy the warm, cozy glow of Nour!
